Abstract

Uma curta abordagem aos elementos constituintes da União Europeia tal como foram desenhados pelos "pais fundadores" e de como se mantiveram, numa evolução de pouco mais de meio século da era de paz inaugurada na Europa. Das Comunidades Europeias passouse à União Europeia, pois só com a entrada em vigor do Tratado de Lisboa, em 2009, se passou a poder falar apenas de uma União Europeia juntamente com a Comunidade Europeia da Energia Atômica.A short approach to the constituent elements of the European Union as designed by the "founding fathers" and how they kept in a growth of just over half a century of peace that was launched in Europe.
