Abstract: The main objective of this article is to analyse how research management is carried out in some higher education institutions in Paraguay, based on the analysis of good practices analysis developed. It also analyses the virtual ac-cessibility of how the information and the communication in research and science is carried out. Accessibility to digital information of the institutional Web contents of these institutions and their research units are analysed in order to understand if they comply with the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility Guidelines for Web Content WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guide-lines 2.0), of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as stated in the Di-rective (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the European Stand-ard EN 17161:2019. The final analysis revealed several weaknesses affecting users' interest and motivations.
